Built for bakers, by people who watched bakers struggle

BakeOnyx started with a question we couldn't stop thinking about: why do the people who make the most beautiful food spend most of their time on the ugliest spreadsheets?

We watched a cake artist spend her Sunday night pricing next week's orders — calculating ingredient costs by hand, looking up last month's quotes in WhatsApp threads, and guessing at her margins. She was brilliant at baking. She was drowning in admin. That shouldn't be the trade-off.

So we built BakeOnyx. Not in a lab, not from a template — with bakers. Every feature exists because a real baker said “I need this.” Recipe costing came from a cake decorator who was losing money on every wedding cake. Inventory alerts came from a bread baker who kept running out of flour on Saturdays. The inquiry pipeline came from a bakery handling 30 wedding inquiries in June and losing track of half of them.

Today, BakeOnyx serves 500+ bakeries across 30 countries — from home bakers selling on Instagram to multi-location operations. But the mission hasn't changed: give bakers back their time. Every feature we ship, every line of code we write, answers one question: does this help a baker bake more and admin less?
